Hall of Fame
In the history of aviation only a few of the thousands of aircraft designed and built proved to be so successful that they became aviation's historical icons. Deciding which aircraft sit proudly in "The Hall of Fame" is a difficult taskâmany that served the RAAF do: the C-47B Dakota, the P-51D Mustang, the Canberra, the Sabre, the Mirage, the Neptune, the Orion, the Phantom F4, the F18 Hornet and the F111. There are a few other types in this select group and our site will display those worthy of the accolade.
